Designed with the performance XC racer in mind, Duo rings are intended
to be used in pairs, instead of the normal triple-chainring setup.
The
inner ring attaches to either RS-7 or RS-8 cranks using our exclusive
Sweet Torque interface and acts as the 3-arm spider for the outer ring,
saving weight.
All Duo outer chainrings utilise our slickshift technology, meaning
that it is possible to run a 29T - 44T setup, maintaining a similar
gearing range to a standard 3-ring chainset. Quite simply, it is perfect
for all but the most severe terrain and offers a substantial weight
saving.
